A few years ago, I was lucky enough to work with a TV film crew from production company Little Gem , to shoot some aerial (drone) video sequences for a pilot Channel 4 TV programme called “The Wild Weekenders”. The scheduled programme viewing date for this was 14th April 2017 (Good Friday) on Channel 4 TV.

In the picture above you can see the Wild Weekenders director Leo McCrea and film crew with Adam Buxton and Ashley Hone navigating boggy moorland on their trek up to Sheeps Tor, Dartmoor.

I filmed the aerial shots of presenters Adam Buxton (actor/comedian/presenter) and  wild camping consultant and friend Ashley Hone as they explored Sheeps Tor and took in the breathtaking landscape views.

It was surprisingly blustery on top of the tor and a little challenging to keep the drone stable and where I wanted it to be, but we got some great shots.  The light was a real challenge too as it constantly changed and needed camera adjustments, falling off rapidly at the end and pushing the low light capability of the aerial camera to the limit.
